Case leading to the death of Dong's mother (董周氏), who knew about the abduction and did nothing to stop it (and ended up committing suicide when the affair was discovered, with the help of her second son Dong Xiwen is judged as an accomplice ?). Dong Xiwen was therefore liable to lingchi (but the proposed sentence was banishment to Xinjiang as a slave); Xikui is considered as Mrs Jiang’s accomplice, for he was not involved in the original abduction of Mrs Zhang. No detailed information about the relocation is provided, but the intent was to slae for marriage (嫁賣). |
